Each year, we celebrate California Sunday, remembering the start of the Calvary Chapel movement in the midst of the "Jesus movement" in 1960s California. As well as singing older praise choruses and viewing a short video about the roots of Calvary Chapel, the children led us in worship at the beginning of the service. Afterwards, we had a potluck lunch and a moonwalk/slide for the kids. (31 pictures) |

Once a month, the children of the church help lead part of worship on Sunday morning. Also, in January 2005, the children had a "Fun Fair" with face-painting, food, games, and other activities. (27 pictures) |

On October 31, 2004, we conducted a ministry outreach to the surrounding community -- Trunk or Treat, providing local kids with a healthy Christian alternative to Halloween. This was followed by a game night and bonfire. (41 pictures) |
