Listed here are current or ongoing needs within the body. We provide these, not to guilt-trip you into service, but as a tool to make you aware of ways in which you can serve. In addition, in those areas in which you do not feel led, you can still obey Jesus' admonition to "pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest."

Within the Body

Children's Ministry
Teachers and helpers are needed for all classes. The commitment is for one full month on Sunday mornings. Children's Church meets during the teaching portion of the worship service. All other classes meet during the entire worship service.   (contact Children's Ministry)

Projector / Computer
We need volunteers to run the projector (using PowerPoint) and/or record the teachings on the computer and create CDs of those teachings. Training will be provided for all tasks.    (contact Projection)

Drama Leader
We continue to pursue methods other than teaching and singing that can be used to glorify God and edify the body. One effective means that we have found is through the use of drama -- whether a short skit to make an annoucement or illustrate a point, or an entire play. We presently need a new leader for this ministry.    (contact church office)

Worship Team
We have a variety of areas in which you can use artistic talents for the glory of God. Our most pressing need presently is a bass player, however all roles in our worship team have opportunities available.    (contact Worship Team)

Sound Team
We need sound engineers to run the audio for services and other special events. Training will be provided for all tasks.    (contact Sound Team)

Building Maintenance
Duties include general maintenance and small projects.   (contact Construction Team)

Outside the Body

Kindness Ministry
The approach of Kindness Ministries is to simply do the deed of God’s love before sharing the word of God’s love. Activities include giving soft drinks, wrapping Christmas presents, and washing cars. More info about the Kindness Ministry can be found here.   (contact Kindness Ministry)
